Metaphor for 4/14/2013

When I was a child, I had colored strips of paper with glue on the end from which we made chains of bracelets and necklaces.  Like some friendships, you could not tug on them, because they would break so easily, and, not like pop beads, you could not put them back together again in any order.It reminds me of Japan and guys calling girlfriends jewelry.
