Today when I put down the rock, it moved back and forth vigorously.  I placed the Buddha on top of it anyway, and watched how it settled the rock, but the rock wanted to play and it kept tipping the Buddha, which I tried to place with one hand clapping and one hand on the Buddha and the rock circling about as the Buddha was placed on it.  One gets images of a bucking horse, or maybe it was just being playful and wanted to let me know that ‘it rocked’.  The less familiar was not working, and I went back to square one of the first placement first day of Buddha on rock.  The Buddha stayed for about a minute and then toppled…..hmmm Watch out for falling Buddhas!
